BCTF 2016

Happy to be home with my girls enjoying some downtime, getting out in the great outdoors and spending some quality time together after working my bottom off getting ready for bctf. Great to see and meet so many other creatives and hope I get to exhibit next to some of them again. Thank you for the great company, you know who you are:) Also met a lot of very lovely gallery owners and buyers all of whom where a pleasure to speak to and calmed my newcomer nerves.

British Craft Trade Fair

Sunday 10th-Tuesday 12th April

This year I’m doing my first trade fair. I’m rather nervous but things are starting to take shape. I’m hoping to put some photos up nearer the time of work I will be taking to the show.

Green Walk Open House Art and Craft Exhibition

Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1st May

This year the Exhibition celebrates its 10th year. This will be my fourth time and I’m happily returning to my friend’s house to exhibit with Jim Wright (a wonderful painter that brings landscapes to life) his son Gordan Wright, (a talented young illustrator worth keeping an eye out for) and Carol who makes beautiful porcelain ceramics.

Originally started when a small group of creative neighbours got together, invited some creative friends and opened their homes for them to exhibit in. What was born was a wonderful way to view artists’ work in a relaxed home environment rather than the clinical one of a gallery. 10 years later and the exhibition is still going strong.

The Art Market Holmfirth

Sun 26 June. 10am-4pm

Last year I won a place as a newcomer, this year I’m returning and really looking forward to taking part. The Art Market is a supportive and friendly event, the atmosphere is relaxed which makes for the perfect event for customers to meet artists and artists to meet customers.

Heatons Arts Trail

Saturday 25th -Sunday 26th

Now in its third year the Arts Trail is growing again. More venues, more artists and hopefully more fun workshops. Line up to be announced soon, watch this space.
